Ali Asfour

Ali Asfour is a Palestinian analogue photographer, writer, researcher, and music selector working between Ramallah, Bethlehem, and Amman. His practice moves across image, text, oral history, archives, and sound, tracing how memory, place, and everyday life survive political erasure. Through his show on Mutant Radio, "SADAA Echoes Of the Mena" he extends this research into music, digging across scenes, histories, and overlooked recordings to build selections shaped by curiosity, rhythm, and unexpected connections. Across photography, writing, and radio, his work is rooted in attentive listening and the belief that research can become both an artistic method and a form of care.
